Broccoli Salad


Today is my little brother's birthday and we are having a picnic for him this evening. I made Broccoli Salad which Cadee just loves. I thought I'd post the recipe for you maybe you can get your kids to like broccoli too.
Broccoli Salad
1 large bunch broccoli, chopped into fine pieces
1 med onion chopped ¼ c. bacon, fried and crumbled
2 sm boxes raisins ½ lb sharp cheese, cubed small

Combine all above ingredient in large bowl
Dressing:
Option #1
1 cup mayonnaise, ½ c. sugar, 2 Tbsp vinegar Mix together and pour over salad

Option #2 Gram Baker’s
1 ½ c. sugar, 1 ½ c water, ¼ c. Flour, ½ cup Vinegar. Boil ingredients until clear. Remove from heat then add 1 Tbsp prepared mustard and 1 cup mayonnaise. Refrigerate extra dressing can be kept for weeks
